Training in Portland, Oregon
The team did a series of hikes in the Cascades mountain range in preparation for their historic attempt to climb Mount Kilimanjaro. Traversing rivers and overcoming rough terrain wasn’t easy for anyone, let alone an athlete who is blind. This experience enabled them to practice various guiding techniques.

Team See Possibilities ran with Team with a Vision at the Boston Marathon and supported the incredible organization - Massachusetts Association for the Blind and Vision Impaired
Training in Colorado Grays and Torreys Peaks
The team climbed not one but two 14ers in Colorado in preparation for the historic trek on the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu to train at elevation. They had never climbed two 14,000 foot peaks in a single day and were intimidated by the prospects.

our first boston marathon
Testing the value of discomfort as they persevered through cold winds and steady rain. Running in support of the Massachusetts Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired, they joined 70 other visually impaired runners on the historic marathon course
