Team See Possibilities is a nonprofit dedicated to empowering college students who are blind to become confident leaders and role models who raise expectations and inspire possibility in younger students and families.
Students who are blind are capable of extraordinary achievement, yet systemic barriers hold many back.
- Only 30.3% of blind adults in the US have some college education/associates degree (NFB, 2016).
- Only 19.7% of blind adults in the US have obtained a college degree or higher (Center for Research on Disability, 2023)
Too often, young people who are blind lack role models, supportive peers, and access to networks that build confidence and ambition. At the same time, societal low expectations can make success in higher education and meaningful careers seem out of reach.
Team See Possibilities exists to change that.
Our Story

Founded in 2015 by visually impaired athlete and entrepreneur Dan Berlin together with his guides Brad Graff, Charles Scott, and Alison Qualter-Berna, Team See Possibilities began by taking on epic endurance challenges in iconic locations around the world. These feats, never before accomplished by a blind athlete, inspired people with and without disabilities to push beyond perceived limitations. Along the way, the team visited schools for the blind to show what a person who is blind can achieve. From these adventures, TSP’s mission was born.
Today, that spark has grown into a national leadership and scholarship initiative. So far, TSP has awarded over 120 scholarships totaling more than $590,000 to help students who are blind thrive in higher education and create a community that is shaping the next generation of blind leaders.
